Classes and Camps Hosted Year Round

Xtreme soccer focuses on youth development.

Coach Kevin Leonard, head coach of the Texas Outlaws, is Director of Coaching for the Texas Xtreme FY youth soccer club.  The staff of coaches at the Texas Xtreme are not only focused on developing "star" soccer players.  Camps and daily classes are designed for every level of athlete and for whatever goal they are trying to achieve.

Home School Soccer Classes/League

The home school soccer classes are designed to provide home school students a recreational activity that allows them to develop coordination, provide physical fitness, and increase athletic confidence.  The classes often mix younger and older children of both genders to continue to foster the environment many home school parents seek.  The older players are encouraged to mentor younger players and be mindful not to injure them.  This helps develop leadership and increased coordination.  Younger players are encouraged to be more aggressive with the older players.  This reduces fear and increases confidence in the younger athlete.  Ultimately, they all learn to play soccer like the rest of the world - from each other in a "sandlot" environment.

Advanced Soccer Camps

The primary focus of the camps and clinics hosted by the Outlaws is skills development.  Players at every age increase foot speed and confidence with the ball by continuously working on the skills.  As their skills improve, their ability to take time to assess their situation on the field improves.  As that improves, their creativity improves.  And finally, a creative player grows to love the game of soccer.
